Compensation and Benefits

The salaries paid to our associates compare favorably with salaries paid by other major firms in New York City and Washington D.C.  First-year associates receive an annual base salary of $180,000 and are eligible for a bonus.  Base salaries for associates are adjusted annually.

In addition to their regular compensation and four weeks of annual vacation, the Firm provides associates with many benefits, including:

• a 401(k) profit-sharing plan (including a Firm contribution for associates who have worked with the Firm for 2 years, a benefit that is not generally offered by other law firms);
• contributory health, dental and eye coverage;
• long-term and short-term disability insurance coverage;
• Health Care and Dependant Care Flexible Spending Accounts;
• contributory group life insurance; and 
• full reimbursement for bar review and continuing legal education fees, and partial reimbursement for membership in organized bar associations
