In December 2017, Dometic Group AB (STO:DOM), a Sweden-based global leader in branded solutions for mobile living, completed its previously announced acquisition of SeaStar Solutions, a leading North-American-based provider of vessel control and fuel systems and aftermarket products to the leisure marine industry, for $875 million in cash. Dometic operates in the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific, providing products for use in recreational vehicles, trucks and premium cars, pleasure and workboats, and for a variety of other uses.  A Seward & Kissel team led by Nick Katsanos and James Cofer represented Dometic as HSR and tax counsel in this transaction.
