Represented Heidmar Inc. in connection with the $45,000,000 sale of its Heidmar Lightering division to Overseas Shipholding Group, Inc.

Heidmar Inc. commercially operates a fleet of over 90 tankers and is the general agent and commercial manager of five tanker pools. In April 2007, Heidmar sold its Heidmar Lightering division for $45,000,000 to Overseas Shipholding Group, Inc. (NYSE: OSG). A Seward & Kissel team led by partner Lawrence Rutkowski and including partner James Abbott, counsel Beth Alter, and associates James Cofer, Michael O’Brien and Michelle Echeverria represented Heidmar in the transaction.
