Adam Lesnick is Counsel in the firm’s Real Estate Department. Adam has more than 20 years of experience representing institutional and other investors in real estate and real estate related transactions throughout the United States, including the acquisition, financing, leasing, development and disposition of a wide variety of real estate and real estate related assets. His expertise includes the structuring and formation of the various entities involved in such transactions, including corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. Adam has also been involved in numerous real estate securities transactions, including roll-up consolidation transactions, portfolio acquisitions, UPREITs and DOWNREITs.
Adam also focuses his practice on the establishment and ongoing management of a variety of real estate private investment funds. His experience with fund formations includes representing real estate funds, fund of funds, joint ventures and other investment vehicles in all aspects of their formation and ongoing operations, including advising fund sponsors and managers with respect to organizational, operational and compensation matters, and preparing, structuring and negotiating fund formation and investment documents and forming parallel, feeder and co-investment vehicles. In addition, he specializes in representing investors in negotiating their investments in private investment vehicles.
Adam is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the International and American Bar Associations.
