On January 31, 2012, Seward & Kissel client Altum Capital Management, LLC, acquired the Capstone Altum Credit Funds from Capstone Investment Advisors. Altum Capital Management employs quantitative models to invest in both the rated and unrated portions of CLOs, as well as non-agency mortgage-backed securities. A Seward & Kissel team led by partners Craig Sklar, Chris Riccardi and Jim Cofer represented Altum Capital Management in connection with this transaction.
