Sareen Armani is an associate in the Litigation Group. Sareen represents clients in connection with civil and criminal enforcement investigations, regulatory inquiries, and criminal prosecutions. She also represents clients in complex commercial and securities litigation matters. Sareen has been recognized as a “Rising Star” in the 2020 edition of the New York Metro Super Lawyers.
As part of the Firm’s pro bono practice, Sareen represents indigent defendants in federal criminal proceedings via matters referred by the Southern District of New York’s Criminal Justice Act panel. She also represents pro bono clients in matrimonial, immigration, and social security proceedings via the Firm’s partnership with Her Justice and the New York County Lawyers Association. In 2019, Sareen was awarded the 2019 New York County Lawyers Association Pro Bono Award for her pro bono work.
Sareen, who is trilingual and fluent in French and Armenian, received her B.A. from New York University and her J.D. from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, where she served as the Senior Production Editor of the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice. She is currently admitted to practice in the State of New York, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
