M&A – Purchase of Minority Stake in Polen Capital Management

Represented iM Square in connection with its purchase of a minority equity stake in Polen Capital Management, an SEC registered investment adviser with approximately $7 billion in assets under management. Polen manages separately managed accounts, mutual funds and UCITs products.

On December 31, 2015, Seward & Kissel client, iM Square, a French based investment firm purchased a minority equity stake in Polen Capital Management, an SEC registered investment adviser with approximately $7 billion in assets under management. Polen manages separately managed accounts, mutual funds and UCITs products. iM Square is backed by founding shareholders, asset manager Amundi, venture capital firm Eurazeo and investing club La Maison, and was formed to make minority stake acquisitions of U.S. asset managers.
