Counsel David E. Stutzman spoke at a continuing legal education program at the New York City Bar Association on “Top Ten Estate Planning Techniques in 2020 and Beyond,” hosted by the Association’s Estate and Gift Taxation Committee, of which David is Chair.  The program covered ten estate planning techniques that David and his fellow speakers most frequently consider. The goal of the program was to discuss how each technique works, including some of the more pressing (or troublesome) technical considerations, who it works for, as well as the salient planning considerations.  Discussion of possible changes that may be made to transfer tax rules in the Biden administration were also discussed.  The online webinar took place on November 13, 2020.
