Associate Laura Miller presented a CLE course for Lawline titled, “Exploring Emerging Trends in Maritime Sanctions.”

This course provides an overview of emerging trends in the U.S. maritime sanctions space.

Learning Objectives:

• Identify introductory concepts underlying the U.S. sanctions program, with a focus on maritime activity and evasion practices
• Discuss particular issues faced by shipowners and charterers
• Understand recent issues arising from the Iranian and Russian sanctions program, including enforcement trends
