Partner Jack Yoskowitz Presented, “The Scope of Attorney-Client Privilege,” at a New York City Bar Association Event

On Thursday, November 21st, Partner Jack Yoskowitz gave a CLE presentation titled, “The Scope of Attorney-Client Privilege,” to members and guests of the New York City Bar Association.

The panel discussion provided a review of attorney-client privilege, and consisted of highly accomplished and experienced practitioners, addressing the relevant legal standards and best practices on a wide-range of key privilege issues, including:

  • The role of in-house counsel
  • Internal investigations
  • Disclosure to third parties (e.g., the government)
  • Recent case law concerning the privilege

In addition to Jack, the panel featured Christopher J. Dunnigan (Senior Trial Counsel, United States Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Enforcement, New York Regional Office) and Matthew Popowsky (Executive Director and Counsel, UBS) and Paul A. Straus (King & Spalding LLP).
