For more than a decade prior to joining Seward & Kissel, Philip served as Senior Counsel in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, including as a member of the Asset Management Unit, handling complex and sensitive matters involving valuation, market manipulation, undisclosed conflicts of interest, insider trading, whistleblowers, style drift, supervisory and compliance failures, and other issues.
