The New York State Department of Financial Service (DFS) will hold its first-ever TechSprint, which will focus on digital regulatory reporting in the virtual currency industry. The event will be held from March 1 through March 12, 2021.

Andrew Jacobson has been selected to participate in the TechSprint, and will join a group of over 100 professionals from all over the world representing the regulatory, academic, crypto, and fintech communities. TechSprints are intense problem solving sessions designed to facilitate innovation, collaboration and creative solutions to difficult problems.

Over the two weeks, teams will compete to develop prototype solutions, with the goal of moving toward a next generation approach that utilizes technology to more effectively supervise and monitor the industry.
