David Stutzman Receives Bloomberg Tax’s Outstanding Portfolio Author of the Year Award for Outstanding Authorship in Estates, Gifts and Trusts

Seward & Kissel is pleased to announce that counsel David Stutzman has received Bloomberg Tax’s 2018 Outstanding Portfolio Author of the Year Award for outstanding authorship in estates, gifts and trusts, in recognition of his co-authorship of Tax Management Portfolio 815, “Planning for Authors, Musicians, Artists, and Collectors.” The Portfolio addresses the unique issues involved in planning for and administering estates that consist in part of assets that have been created by the decedent’s personal creative efforts or the creative efforts of others. The award was presented at a luncheon on January 15 during the 53rd Annual Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning in Orlando.

David E. Stutzman is counsel to and a member of the Seward & Kissel’s Trusts and Estates and Charitable Organizations Group. For over 30 years, he has specialized in complex estate, trust and charitable planning and administration for high-net-worth individuals and families.
