Ms. Glavin notes that the UK’s financial regulator’s action against a senior banker at JPMorgan for sharing confidential information about a client with a prospective client was an aggressive and notable action “in a case where there’s no allegation that [the banker] traded on the stock of the company, that he had any personal gain, or that the people he shared this information with had any personal gain.”
