In connection with the restructuring of Arch Coal, Inc. and various of its subsidiaries, Seward & Kissel LLP represents Wilmington Trust, N.A., as administrative agent and collateral agent for approximately $1.8 billion of first lien term loan obligations, and as debtor-in-possession agent for approximately $275 million of debtor-in-possession loan obligations. The Seward & Kissel team for the first lien term loan obligations consists of Partners Kalyan (βKalβ) Das, Andrew Silverstein, Gregg Bateman, John Ashmead and Mark Kotwick, Counsel Arlene Alves and Ross Hooper and Associate Catherine LoTempio. The Seward & Kissel team for the debtor-in-possession loan obligations consists of Partners Kalyan (βKalβ) Das, Jeffrey Silverstein, Ronald Cohen, Dale Christensen, Counsel Daphne Coelho-Adam and Associates Laurie Binder and Michael Tenenhaus.
