We rely heavily on our summer program for our hiring needs. The primary goal of the program is to provide summer associates with a realistic, broad-based view of our practice and an opportunity to become acquainted with our attorneys through a combination of our informal mentoring program, training sessions and social events. Our Washington, D.C. office affords its attorneys a more focused experience concentrating solely on our Financial Services and Investment Management practices in the context of a collegial, small-office environment. Please note that all other legal work (i.e. Litigation, Trusts & Estates, Tax, etc.) is done in our New York office. The Firm is particularly well known for its representation of major commercial banks, investment banking firms, investment advisers and related investment funds (including mutual and hedge funds). Summer associates for 2027 will receive salaries of $4,326.92 per week.

Assessment by Suited

This recruiting cycle, Seward & Kissel has partnered with the predictive candidate screening platform Suited to help us better understand our applicants.
