Biography
Ronald A. Hewitt is a partner in the Global Banking and Corporate Trust Group.
Ron has extensive experience representing clients in complex, bespoke and hybrid finance, capital markets and restructuring transactions. He also advises on an array of derivatives transactions and related regulatory compliance.
Ron regularly represents banks and financial institutions in distressed and non-distressed financial transactions. These clients include:
- administrative and collateral agents in a broad range of domestic and cross-border credit facilities, and
- trustees and escrow agents in connection with secured and unsecured high yield debt issuances, DSTs, convertible notes, escrow offerings, acquisitions and exchange transactions, and in bankruptcy court proceedings.
Ron also represents end-users and corporate debt issuers in connection with convertible note hedges and other equity-linked transactions, including negotiation of ISDA master agreements and structured products as well as Dodd-Frank and EMIR compliance.
