Vikki Madias is a foreign law clerk in the Corporate Finance Maritime Group. Prior to joining S&K, she worked as a Greek lawyer in Athens, Greece for both an international law firm and a Greek law firm, representing a multitude of lenders, other financial institutions and borrowers in the ship finance sector from 2000 until 2013. She has broad experience in cross-border ship finance transactions, vessel acquisition deals, various refinancing and restructuring transactions and sale and leaseback deals. At S&K, she is particularly involved with the preparation of numerous legal opinions on matters of NY law and in relation to non-resident Liberian and Marshall Islands entities and the enforceability of mortgage documentation for US, Liberian, Marshall Islands and Vanuatu flagged vessels. Vikki received a B.A. from Cornell University, cum laude, an LL.B. degree in Law and a Master of Arts in Law from Cambridge University, UK, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Society of England and Wales, College of Law, London and a law degree from the University of Athens.

Vikki is a Greek lawyer, admitted in the Piraeus Bar Association and is fluent in Greek.
