Lindsay Ditlow is Co-Head of Seward & Kissel’s Employment Practice. Lindsay is a seasoned employment attorney with extensive experience representing clients in litigation involving federal and state employment laws, including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FCRA, and wage and hour regulations. Lindsay also serves as a trusted adviser to U.S. and multinational companies on a wide range of employment and compliance matters, which include employment and separation agreements, employee policies and handbooks, restrictive covenants, pay equity, corporate restructurings, WARN notification obligations, global expansion, and internal investigations. Lindsay also has extensive experience as a transactional advisor on employment matters and regularly supports M&A transactions by helping clients to understand and mitigate employment related risks and exposure.

Lindsay received her B.A. from Tulane University Freeman School of Business and her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. 

Lindsay is a member the New York State Bar Association, Labor and Employment; New Jersey State Bar Association; American Bar Association; and Young Jewish Professionals, member.

Representative Experience
  • Represented a publicly traded medical technology company against claims of discrimination and retaliation in California federal district court. Claims were successfully dismissed with prejudice.
  • Successfully represented a technology holding company in New York State Court asserting various claims against a minority shareholder and former executive.
  • Achieved repeated successes in state and federal courts for a global accounting firm against claims of discrimination and retaliation brought by former employees against the company and managing partners. Each case was dismissed or otherwise withdrawn with prejudice.
  • Served as Title IX Coordinator for a nationally recognized university in a matter concerning highly publicized allegations among students.
  • Obtained a successful defense verdict after a seven-week trial in a breach of contract/non-solicitation case on behalf of an advertising company.
  • Represented a nationwide staffing company against claims of discrimination and retaliation in the Southern District of New York. Claims were successfully dismissed with prejudice.
  • Conducted wage compliance audits on behalf of private equity companies across portfolio platforms.
