Biography

Matthew Armao is an associate in the Litigation & Investigations Group.

Matthew represents financial services institutions, individuals, and other companies in complex commercial disputes, government investigations and regulatory inquiries. In addition, Matthew advises clients on matters relating to economic sanctions administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Matthew is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Matthew received a B.A. from Fordham University and a J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he served as a staff editor for the New York University Journal of Law & Business.
