Seward & Kissel advises Kennedy Lewis Investment Management on its sale of a minority equity stake to Azimut Alternative Capital Partners

On July 29, 2020, Azimut Alternative Capital Partners, LLC announced that it entered into agreements to acquire a minority equity interest in investment management firm Kennedy Lewis Investment Management LLC and certain affiliated entities. New York-based Kennedy Lewis, founded in 2017, is a leading opportunistic private credit investment management firm with approximately $2.1bn in combined AUM and committed capital. Azimut is Italy’s leading independent asset manager.
