Seward & Kissel represents JKR management in strategic partnership with Breakwater Management
In August 2026, it was announced that Breakwater Management, an LA based private equity firm, will invest in JKR, the award-winning global branding business. Specific terms of the deal have not been disclosed. Breakwater will succeed GCP as JKR’s private equity partner. The investment will accelerate JKR’s vision to build the branding business of the future — while preserving the independence that has defined the company since it was founded. Seward & Kissel is pleased to have represented JKR management in connection with this private equity transaction.
