Practices
Elyse Moy is an associate in Seward & Kissel’s Employment Group, where she advises clients across a wide range of industries on the full lifecycle of employment matters—from onboarding through separation. She leverages legal expertise and a grounded understanding of workplace dynamics to help clients stay ahead of evolving legal trends.
Her practice includes drafting and negotiating employment and independent contractor agreements, incentive compensation plans, and restrictive covenants. She also guides clients in developing and implementing workplace policies, navigating accommodation requests, discrimination claims, and internal investigations with discretion and care.
Elyse brings a proactive yet measured approach to workplace challenges like performance management, workforce restructurings, and separation negotiations, helping clients resolve conflicts before they escalate. If disputes arise, she provides strategic advocacy in both threatened and active litigation, ensuring clients remain informed and empowered.
In addition to her advisory and litigation work, Elyse maintains an active pro bono practice and regularly partners with Seward & Kissel’s corporate teams to provide employment guidance in complex, multi-jurisdictional business transactions.
