Biography

Elyse Moy is an associate in Seward & Kissel’s Employment practice.

Elyse advises clients on the full lifecycle of employment matters—from onboarding through separation. She combines legal expertise with a practical understanding of workplace dynamics to help clients stay ahead of evolving legal trends. Her practice includes drafting and negotiating employment and independent contractor agreements, incentive compensation plans, and restrictive covenants. She also guides clients in developing and implementing workplace policies and navigating accommodation requests, discrimination claims, and internal investigations with discretion and care.

She takes a proactive, measured approach to challenges such as performance management, workforce restructurings, and separation negotiations, helping clients resolve conflicts before they escalate. If disputes arise, Elyse provides strategic advocacy in threatened and active litigation, ensuring clients remain informed and empowered.

Additionally, Elyse maintains an active pro bono practice and regularly works with Seward & Kissel’s corporate groups to provide employment guidance in multi-jurisdictional business transactions.
