Biography
Melanie represents corporate and individual clients involved in high-stakes litigation.
Melanie is particularly valued for her ability to strategically assess and balance risks for clients based on how cases actually unfold in court. She works closely with clients to develop realistic, stage-specific business assessments, helping clients with significant financial and reputational exposure make informed decisions in fast-moving and high-pressure situations.
Her experience includes representing clients in a range of complex matters, including bet-the-company contract disputes, securities litigations, and corporate ownership and governance disputes. Melanie also represents high net-worth individual clients and pro bono clients in family disputes.
Before joining the Firm, Melanie practiced in the New York offices of two large firms, and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Gary Stein of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
