Biography
Robert Wood is a partner in the Corporate Finance Group.
Rob advises sponsors, investment funds, and financial institutions on a wide range of complex financing transactions across the fund finance and private credit markets. His practice focuses on representing investment funds—including private equity, funds of funds, hedge funds and mutual funds—in connection with NAV facilities, subscription credit facilities (including structures involving rated note feeders), hybrid financings, GP and management company lines, and other bespoke liquidity solutions.
In addition, Rob represents private equity sponsors on acquisition financings and advises private credit platforms both as borrowers in back-leverage facilities and as lenders in direct lending transactions. His experience also includes margin loans, employee co-investment facilities, and financings for high-net-worth individuals.
Rob’s broader practice encompasses structured and trading-related transactions, including receivables purchase facilities, derivatives, custody and prime brokerage arrangements, repo transactions, and securities lending. He is valued by clients for his ability to navigate complex structures and deliver commercially focused solutions in sophisticated financing environments.
