Tyler is an associate attorney specializing in investment management with a focus on private fund formation. Tyler has experience launching hedge funds, private equity funds, hybrid funds and venture capital funds. He advises fund managers on structuring and launching investment vehicles and managed accounts that align with their business objectives while meeting investor expectations. His work also includes negotiating and preparing documentation for private fund offerings, as well as related sub-advisory agreements, side letters, commercial agreements, and service-provider arrangements.

In addition to fund formation, Tyler counsels clients on a wide range of regulatory and compliance matters. He assists with all filings applicable to private fund advisers—such as Section 13 and Section 16 filings—and supports the development and enhancement of compliance policies and procedures. Tyler helps clients navigate the evolving regulatory landscape governing private funds, from SEC registration to ongoing compliance program implementation, ensuring they remain prepared for regulatory challenges while maintaining operational efficiency.
