On March 4, 2026, Journey Strategic Wealth (“Journey”), a national platform for independent wealth advisors, announced its agreement to be acquired by Hightower Advisors, LLC (“Hightower”), one of the leading independent wealth management firms in the U.S. Seward & Kissel is pleased to have represented Journey in connection with this investment management industry transaction.
New Jersey-based Journey oversees approximately $5 billion in assets under management with a team of 24 professionals serving nearly 1,000 clients. Hightower is a Chicago-based, national wealth management firm with approximately $353.7 billion of assets under management and 271 locations that provides investment, financial, and retirement planning services to individuals, families, and institutions, as well as 401(k) consulting and cash management services to corporations.
